This Ayurveda package cleanses the body and mind. Among other things, the focus is on cleansing procedures (Panchakarma), oil applications (Snehana), herbal steam baths (Swendanam), pouring of warm oils onto the forehead (Shirodhara) and – as a climax – the royal oil bath treatment (Pizhichil). In their treatments, doctors and therapists draw on the effectiveness of traditional remedies – such as Ayurvedic oils, herbs and ghee.
Getting older and still not aging: With the Body Immunization Package we come very close to this wish. The focus is on the knowledge of the Rasayanas. These are primarily rejuvenating remedies. The treatment leads to a transformation of the body tissue (dhatus) and counteracts negative influences.
Losing weight, feeling freer and more comfortable as well as prevent the harmful effects that can occur due to overweight – these are the goals of this special Ayurvedic treatment. Traditional medicinal herbs play a central role in this treatment: they unfold their effect in powder massages, oils, steam baths and medicines. Individual and varied nutrition supports the treatment.
This package is designed to relax and vitalize the body. In addition to medical steam baths, herbal medicine and soothing face masks, it also includes two highlights of Ayurvedic treatment: full-body massages (Abhyanga) and pouring of warm liquids onto the forehead (Shirodhara). Their base are warm herbal oils, which are mixed according to centuries-old recipes.
If you suffer from stress or burn-out symptoms, the Stress Management Package is the right choice. Among other things, this package includes pouring of warm oil onto the forehead (Shirodhara), herbal steam baths as well as yoga and meditation. It is the goal to let body and soul come to rest.
The success of these treatments is obvious: your complexion is visibly more radiant, your skin smoother, and your body firmer. The Beauty Care Package delivers on what it promises: it provides your skin with protection and beauty. This treatment pursues one goal above all else: you are to feel completely relaxed.
Built by the first Portuguese Viceroy in India, Don Francesco de Almeida (1505), St. Angelo’s Fort is among the most historic sites in Kannur. This massive triangular laterite structure is flanked by gigantic bastions that make for an imposing sight. It changed hands between the Dutch and eventually the British, who would remodel and reequip it into their primary military stronghold in Malabar. Mopilla Bay and Dharamadam Island are among the primary attractions here. Mopilla Bay is a natural harbour and the fort offers a wonderful view of it along with a sea wall projecting from the fort separating the rough sea and inland water. Dharamadam Island, barely 5 acres in area, is 100 m from the mainland and a favourite haunt of tourists. People come to the fort for relaxing strolls and just a brilliant view of the Arabian Sea.
The Payyambalam Beach is an impeccably maintained destination in Kannur. This secluded location is known for providing one with the opportunity to simply relax or enjoy a family picnic in absolute tranquillity. Surfing and swimming options are also available for those who seek a little adventure. Being close to Kannur town has made it a favourite haunt for tourists and locals alike.
